Onboading New SIMs

This section will provide you a step-by-step procedure to onboard new SIMs.

  1. On the Onboarding App, click CREATE CAMPAIGN
  2. Click the Task selection tab.
  3. Click Choose a task drop-down and select Onboading New SIMs .
  4. Click Next.
  5. You will be provided with three options to onboard SIMs. Do one of the following:
    1. Click Upload devices and click Browse. Select a CSV file. A sample CSV is shown below. Make sure the ICCIDs you are uploading are available to be assigned to your devices, in your Organization.

    2. Click Device list. The available ICCIDs along with the corresponding IMSIs and MSISDNs are shown. Copy and Paste the ICCIDs or IMSIs to the search field and click Search. Make sure the drop-down preceding the search has the right parameter ICCID/IMSI.
    3. Click Recruiter. Enter the list of ICCIDs separated by comma or new line. The maximum number of ICCIDs you can add is 2000.

  6. Click Validate.
    A confirmation message appears showing the devices are unassigned.
  7. Click Next
  8. You will now proceed to Step 3: Profile Selection - The Profile Selection allows you to set the profiles (Data/Voice/SMS) for the onboarding SIMs.
  9. You will be able to set the profiles as following:
    1. Data: Select Enabled or Disabled to enable or disable Data for the onboarding SIMs.
    2. SMS: Select Disabled or MO or MT or Both(MO and MT) SMS for the onboarding SIMs.
    3. Voice: Select Enabled or Disabled to enable or disable Voice for the onboarding SIMs.
    4. Status: Select Activate or Deactivate to activate or deactive the onboarding SIMs.
    5. Contract Data: Select Enabled or Disabled to enable or disable Contract Data for the onboarding SIMs.
    6. Contract SMS: Select Disabled or MO or MT or Both(MO and MT) Contract SMS for the onboarding SIMs.
    7. Contract Voice: Select Enabled or Disabled to enable or disable Contract Voice for the onboarding SIMs.
    8. You will not be able to disable Contract Data, Contract SMS or Contract Voice and Enable Data, SMS or Voice as it is mandatory those are enabled, if you want enable individual data/SMS/voice. The values you set in the Contract Data, Contract SMS and Contract Voice are shown under the Service tab in a Connection within the Management Portal.
    9. Click APN drop-down and select one or multiple APNs(Access Point Name) that your device needs to connect to mobile data.
    10. Click Roaming Profile drop-down and select/search the Roaming Profile that your SIM needs while in the Roaming zone.
  10. Click Next.
    You will now proceed to Step 4: Campaign details- The Campaign details allows you to enter the Name, Description, and the Organization.
  11. Enter the Name, Description, and the Organization to which the SIMs will be onboarded.
  12. Click Start now or Schedule for later.
    When you click Schedule for later, pick a date to schedule your Campaign.
  13. Click Create campaign.
