AWS IoT SiteWise Part 3 - Publishing data with deviceWISE

This section details the step-by-step procedure for setting up Models & Assets in AWS IoT SiteWise.

  1. Click New and then, Enter the name (AWS);

  2. Right click the Project created and then, start it;
  3. Double click to Open the project;
  4. Click New (to Create a Trigger);
  5. Enter the name of it (EMU_V3, for example);
  6. Drag Publish Asset Properties Action from AWS IoT SiteWise dropdown list;

  7. Connect the step to the End of the execution;
  8. Double Click the Action;
  9. Select EMU Asset Dropdown;
  10. Add RIO EMU Values to Asset Properties;

  11. Select the Event Type, in this case "On-Demand";
  12. Save and Start Trigger;
  13. Fire Trigger;

  1. Log-in to AWS IoT SiteWise;
  2. Go to the IoT SiteWise Models page;
  3. Select EMU Asset;
  4. Click on the Measurements tab:
