The GCP allows deviceWISE to connect to the GCP BigQuery and Pub/Sub services. When using the GCP BigQuery with deviceWISE, there is no infrastructure to manage and there is no need for a database administrator, so you can focus on analyzing data to find meaningful insights and solutions. Pub/Sub is a fully managed real-time messaging service that allows you to send and receive messages between the independent applications. These two tools are integrated with deviceWISE to create a platform where you can use the tools as triggers for any event you would like, and also as a Trigger Event Type to fire a trigger when a Pub/Sub subscription message is sent.
In this section, you will learn to set up the BigQuery trigger, Pub/Sub trigger, and to use the Pub/Sub trigger event to update a BigQuery table data.
The Google Cloud cloud connector is added using the Administration -> Packages tab.
