The BACnet driver is the extension of the runtime that contains the protocol specific logic to communicate with the devices that support the BACnet protocol. Communication support is provided for BACnet devices through Ethernet UDP/IP.
Supported devices
As long as it is a BACnet IP, it is supported. If it goes through a router, it is possible to connect to any device.
Supported platforms
The BACnet driver is supported on Windows based and Linux based platforms. It currently is not supported on either the VxWorks or AIX platforms.
