IBM Maximo Trigger Actions

To create Service Requests:
1- Create a new trigger.
2- Select Create Service Request action from IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management category.
3- Select the Device Name.
4- Provide the needed information using the following tables as a reference.
Parameters
Parameter | Description |

Device Name | The name of the device connected to the Maximo Service and that is tied to the Service Request. |
Input tab
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
reportedPriority | Priority of service request as determined by person making the request. |
description_longdescription | Long description about the Service Request. |
description | Brief description about the Service Request. |
The above Input Parameters are default parameters, defined by the connector. If the user wishes or needs to change or modify the parameters, they will need to use the advanced parameters on Device Definition of Service Request (SR) schema. [These attributes are defined in the Service Request Object of Maximo]

To create Work Orders:
1- Create a new trigger.
2- Select Create Workorder action from IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management category.
3- Select the Maximo Connection Device Name.
4- Pick from the Site ID list.
5- Pick the Asset.
6- Provide the needed information in the Input Parameters using the following tables as a reference.
Parameters
Parameter | Description |

Device Name | The name of the device connected to the Maximo Service and that is tied to the Work Order. |
Site ID | Identifies the site. Select the one where the workorder will be created. |
Asset Name | Identifies the asset. Select the one where the workorder should be created against. |

worktype | Speciies the work type of the workorder. It could be EM (Emergency Maintenance); PM (Preventive Maintenance); Capital Project; Corrective Maintenance; or any other that the user has added. |
schedfinish | Date and time the work is scheduled to be completed. Should be in format YYYY-mm-ddTHH:mm:ss.SSSZ Eg: 2022-09-29T10:18:18.427Z . |
schedstart | Date and time the work is scheduled to begin. Should be in format YYYY-mm-ddTHH:mm:ss.SSSZ Eg: 2022-09-29T10:18:18.427Z . |

To Update Meter Readings:
1- Create a new trigger.
2- Select Update Meter Reading action from IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management category.
3- Select the Maximo Connection Device Name.
4- Pick from the Site ID list.
5- Pick the Asset.
6- Select the Meter Name.
7- Fill the needed information in the Input Parameters using the following tables as a reference.

Asset Name | Identifies the asset. Select the one where the reading will be done. |
