Every trigger has a trigger event type that identifies when the trigger will be executed.
The trigger event types are described in the Trigger event type reference. In addition to the standard trigger event types, the MTConnect driver makes available additional trigger event types that are with events and conditions that are reported by a MTConnect agent
MTConnect event types
The MTConnect category is available in the Trigger Event Type list when defining or editing a trigger. This example shows a new trigger being defined with the Canvas Editor:
As the image shows there are trigger event types for both Conditions and Events. The parameters used to define a MTConnect event and the data that is passed to the trigger at execution time are defined in the following sections.
