The USB Barcode Scanner driver is the extension of the runtime that contains the protocol specific logic to communicate with devices that support the USB Barcode Scanner protocol. The driver is compatible with the 2.3 version of the USB Barcode Scanner protocol, in addition to supporting versions 3.0 and greater. Communication support is provided for USB Barcode Scanner devices through Ethernet TCP/IP.
