Universal Robots Driver
The Universal Robots URXe Cobot supports live data streaming interfaces and UR Script command interfaces for remotely controlling the Cobot. The deviceWISE Universal Robots URXe Cobot driver supports these interfaces aswell as the dashboard to enable the following capabilities.

Query the Robot status.

Set the operational mode.

Load and play programs.

Power on, power off and release brakes.
The deviceWISE Universal Robots URXe Cobot driver supports the primary and secondary client interfaces with the robot on port 30001 and 30002, it can be used with both the older CB-Series (URX) Cobot family of products and the newer family of e-Series (URXe) Cobot family of products.
This guide will provide the reader with instructions on how to setup and configure a Universal Robots Cobot interface with deviceWISE.

- Universal Robot URXe Cobot Simulator.
- deviceWISE Gateway.
- deviceWISE Workbench.
- Necessary networking and wiring devices and components.

The Universal Robot URX/URXe manipulator arm is comprised of six (6) key joint axes and the tool flange interface to support customized end-of-arm tooling.
A Universal Robots system can interact with external devices by different types of communication interfaces.
