This section describes how to install the SAP Proxy software on a Windows computer. The SAP Proxy software is only required for embedded systems such as a Mitsubishi CCPU and Siemens CP 343-1 ERPC. You must install and configure the SAP Proxy software if you plan to use SAP transports. For more information, click SAP transports.
Required software
You must have the following software:
DWSapProxy_Install.exe

Copy the file to a temporary folder on the computer where you are installing the proxy software.
Important
For embedded platforms, it is important that the the Transaction Server software version is at the same level as the SAP Proxy. Mismatched versions of the Transaction Server software and SAP Proxy will allow the transport to validate; however, all other functionality might not work correctly.
Windows operating systems
The following Windows operating environments are supported: Windows XP Professional, Vista Business, or Windows Server 2000 or later with all service packs applied.
