Image

The Image widget will display an image on the dashboard.

Configuring the widget

Field Description
Name The name of the widget, shown at the top of the widget.
Attach File The file to be uploaded from the local PC. All images uploaded by this mechanism can be manage in the Developer > Files.
Display

How the image should be displayed within the widget.

  • Fixed size will show the image at the same size as when it was upload.
  • Scaled to fit will resize the image to fit within the widget.
  • Tiled will tile the image to fill the background of the widget.
Link to

The Link to dropdown gives the opportunity to link the image to:

  • Do not link: The default option, doesn't link the image to anything.

  • Link to thing: Links the image to a Thing to be selected at another dropdown that appears once this option is selected.

  • Dashboard: Links the image to a Dashboard to be selected at another dropdown that appears once this option is selected.

  • Arbitrary: Links the image to an arbitrary link, either to a website, a file, etc.
Show border If the widget should have a border around it.
