To import Thing definitions, do the following:
- On Developer main
screen under the THINGS group,
click Thing definitions
The Thing definitions screen appears. - Click Import
Thing definitions import screen appears - Click Attach file
- Browse and select the JSON file you want to
import.
When you import a Thing definition with a same name that is already existing then it will update the existing Thing definition with the new values from the imported JSON file.
- Click Import.
When importing a thingDefinition, the elements of the Presentation tab are not included. The Presentation tab will need to be configured manually after the thingDefinition is imported.
