Control Tags is used to control the behavior of an object (User, Things or Connections) in the deviceWISE Cloud. For example, to support the behavior of blacklisting a Thing or a user by an org admin, the blacklist tag is added to the control Tag field of the Thing or user. When a Thing or user attempts to authenticate, and they have the blacklist tag in the control Tags field, the user authentication will fail.
