deviceWISE Cloud 23.10 Release Notes

A number of improvements and fixes were added to the deviceWISE Cloud 23.10 release.

Production Release Date: November 2023

  • The thing.list API command now supports showing and sorting by the (Gateway) supportUntil field.

  • The session.info API command will now return expected gateway license SKUs for thing and application sessions when available.

  • The session.end API command will no longer require a parameter. When issued without parameters, the current session will be ended.

  • The "Report Mode" is now available as a customizable column on the Campaigns View page.

  • The identity and preshared key are no longer specifiable on the Device Profile Application servers page.

  • Updated 23.03 tunnel manager and webstart workbench jars are deployed on the Portal.

  • Added Registration validity field on the user invite page.

  • UX improvement to device profile creation and editing when configuring Application servers.

  • Improved validation of method aliases to restrict special characters and length.

  • Fixed placement of the tool tip overlay for trigger failures table on Triggers page Dashboards view.

  • Silently drop "Close Notify" type DTLS alerts from incorrectly implemented legacy devices.

  • Fixed retrieval of PLMN value in Connection Switch feature.

  • Fixed thing search in respects to queries submitted with apostrophes.

  • Reports will no longer be stored for successful members when a campaign has report mode set to 'On failure'.

  • Allows LwM2M devices to register with queue mode as an option separate from the binding per the LwM2M 1.1 specification.

  • Fixed validation of Retry delay value on add and edit of campaign.

  • Fixed Javascript error when editing Thing Def with multiple Firmware versions.

  • LwM2M composite operations will now interact better with devices that support queue mode.

  • Updated API Tester command list.

  • Appending any selected tags to the query being searched for.

  • Fixed thing search in respects to queries using double quotes not being applied correctly on pagination.

  • Fix to better track Device Profile Application ACL Access Right Rules as they are deleted and added.

  • Improved character sanitization on delete confirmation dialog from delete icons.

  • Fixed invalid error message when trying to perform a Bulk Edit on the Connections list page.

  • The user invite UI is now correctly labeling the required fields.

  • Fixed permission check of the Connections View page.

  • When editing a shared connection the Org is no longer editable.

  • Start and Stop actions disabled for Trigger template and global variable tab

  • Do not display stop button for triggers already stopped in View Page

  • Do not display dashboard logo when Logo Hide checkbox is selected.

  • Add 'alert-info' indicating that HTML in the login text is escaped for security purposes and will not be rendered on this page in case of embedded HTML.
