Telit is pleased to present Telit IoT Portal version 18.01.  A number of improvements and fixes were added to the IoT Portal.

  • T-Mobile CDP Configuration: Remove Carrier Custom Fields.
    Carrier Custom Fields are removed for T-Mobile CDP Connections. 
  • T-Mobile CDP Configuration: Remove Terminal ID.
    Terminal ID Field is removed for T-Mobile CDP Connections. 
  • T-Mobile CDP Configuration: Remove Customer Field. 
    Customer field is removed from T-Mobile CDP Configuration. 
  • Verizon VPP Integration: Remove Zone and Country from Export
    Restricted display of Zone and Country column from connection export. 
  • Verizon VPP Integration: Remove Date Modified field. 
    Date Modified field is removed for Verizon VPP. 
  • Notification message when changing state.
    A notification message ".. updated. This change can take up to 30 minutes to complete", is displayed when applying changing state.  
  • Add ability to set number of decimals places in property current value widget.
    User is now able to set the number of decimals places in property current value widget. 
  • Remove data from thable in SMS usage and display a message instead.
    Removed data from table in SMS usage and display a flash message instead, indicating that "This carrier" does not provide SMS message details.
  • Move "set IMEI" action under Remote AT Module Discovery functionality.
    Moved "Set IMEI" from connection action tab to "Remote AT" tab. 
    RE-located "Discover Module" button on "Remote AT" tab.



  • Connection Details: Remove "month to date data(estimated) field". 
    "Month to date data(estimated)" field is removed and only "Month to date data" field is kept to avoid confusion.  

  • Connections with the state "Unknown" shouldn't be allowed to have state change. 
    Fixed the issue by not showing "Change Status" action for connections with "Unknown" status.
  • Filter selection should be cleared when selecting "Any Command" Option from API Log.
    When "Any Command" is selected, filter selection is cleared.
  • Connections>Bulk Edit shouldn't allow any other format than CSV.
    Fixed connections Bulk Edit to now allow any other formats other than CSV. Added the check and clarification on the confimration page.
  • In the Cog Menu, Admin/Super Admin is not clickable after closing the Connections>Share dialog.
    Fixed where the sharing modal was breaking Cog menu, Admin/Super Admin are clickable. 
  • Unable to dynamically set tags from variables.
    Trigger actions thing.tag.add and thing.tag.delete will now support trigger vairables for the tag parameter. 
  • Session Errors when trying to delete Shared Thing.
    Fixed the issue of session errors when deleteing Shared Thing. 
  • Unsharing thing leaves un-deletable Thing Def.
    Fixed the issue of not able to delete Thing Def after unsharing Thing. 
  • Verizon VPP Integration: Missing SMS usage.
    Fixed issue with missing SMS usage. 
  • Default attribute value not being displayed.
    With this fix, When attribute default value is  set on a thing definition, it now displays in the thing view. 
  • Starting and Stopping cloud triggers have impacts.
    Fixed the trigger start/stop action lockups and side-effect of trigger start/stop on the triggers/view page. 
  • After the image is loaded for the Login Background and Logo under Dashboard>Sites>Edit, it cannot be deleted.
    Fixed the issue of not able to delete images for Dashboard sites.
  • Bulk change not working for bulk deactivation.
    Issue is fixed by removing restriction to Bulk Edit page. Once there, uploading a CSV to deactivate an activive connection works.
  • Property Graph Widget: Switching Graph Type to Bar doesn't work.
    Fixed the Property Graph Widget configuration form to render and save correctly.
  • Inaccurate Connection Session Status is displayed. 
    Fixed the connection sessions disconnect logic to display Session Status correctly.
  • Org Admin can create sub-orgs with elevated org profile.
    Org Admins will only be able to create sub-orgs that inherit their profiles from the parent org: the sub-org will be defaulted to true and cannot be overrideen.
  • Create trigger from template menu is stuck.
    Fixed trigger template group selection.
  • App not able to share things even though it has admin rights.
    Applications that have been granted org administrative rights can now share things and connections to sub orgs.
  • Adding a trigger via "new trigger from template" results with error.
    User can now able to add a trigger via "New trigger from Template". 
  • Deleting multiple things in portal results in an error.
    Fixed the error while deleteing multiple things in portal.
