Additional gateway step-by-step guides
Overview
Additional gateway step by step guides are available that add to the features included in Gateway Part 1 through Gateway Part 3. They also include an example external I/O device. These step-by-step instructions enable the developer to securely connect and integrate these platforms with the Cloud-based deviceWISE (dw) IoT Platform, making it easy for developers to exchange data between devices and web-based and mobile apps, manage data plans, perform remote firmware updates and execute all other essential IoT functions.
Before you begin
Before you use a gateway step-by-step guide, you should have:
- Read the deviceWISE IoT Platform Introduction
- An account on the Management Portal. For more information on creating an account, see Creating the deviceWISE Cloud account
- A Windows computer to run the required utilities referenced in each of the how to guides.
