Getting started with Telit module AT commands
This guide will introduce you to the following products:
- The Telit In-Module deviceWISE AT commands
- The Telit AT Controller
- The Management Portal.
Telit 910 family modules
This getting started guide is for use with the
Telit 910 family of modules that contain the
deviceWISE AT command support in the module's
firmware.

Terms used in this guide
- Telit Module
The Telit 910 family module that contains the deviceWISE AT command support. - Telit AT Controller
The software that communicates with the Telit module and enables you to easily execute AT commands. - Management Portal
The Management Portal lets you manage all of your devices and view your machine data.
Before you begin
Before you use the information in this guide, you should have:
- Read the IoT Platform Introduction
- A Windows computer to run the following:
- Web Browser
- Telit AT Controller
- Note: You must have administrative privileges on your computer to install the Telit USB drivers.
Choosing a device
You must choose a device that includes a Telit 910 family module to use when following the steps in this guide, starting with Part 2. The choice of which device to use should be based on your intended use of the products in the future and your access to one of the possible hardware options.

Any device that exposes the USB interface of a Telit HE910 family module.
Important note regarding firmware level
The Telit module firmware is where the deviceWISE AT command support is implemented. As such, you must ensure that the device you have is running firmware that supports the deviceWISE AT commands. Please consult your Telit representative to ensure you have the right level of firmware.
