This section describes the initial deviceWISE Enterprise Gateway for Siemens ERPC configuration using the Workbench.
If you do not already have the Workbench installed on a computer that can access the CP 343-1 ERPC, see Installing the Workbench software for the installation instructions.
After you have the Workbench installed and started, you
can use the Scan function to connect the Workbench to the
Enterprise Gateway using the IP address configured for the
CP 343-1 ERPC.
- Start the Workbench and Log on
(default User Name is admin, default Password is
admin)
- Right-click the Nodes icon, and
then select Scan
- Select Address / Host Name, type
the IP address of your Enterprise Gateway, and then
select Scan.
- The Enterprise Gateway for ERPC node will appear in
the Nodes list in the left hand pane
of the Workbench.
- Select the Enterprise Gateway for ERPC node to
connect to it and access its configuration and
resources.
