The deviceWISE Enterprise Gateway software is used to access enterprise applications such as database servers, IBM WebSphere MQ applications, and SAP servers. To obtain the deviceWISE Enterprise Gateway installation files, do one of the following:
- From the Management Portal. You will need a Management Portal user ID and password and know how to log on. You need this to download the Enterprise Gateway installation files. If you need a Management Portal account, see Creating the deviceWISE Cloud account.
- Contact your Telit representative.
After the Enterprise Gateway product is installed, you need to add specific licenses to the Enterprise Gateway to enable its features. One Enterprise Gateway is capable of connecting to multiple enterprise applications. However, a license must be obtained for each end-point application (for example, one license for database access, one license for SAP access, and so forth). In addition, depending on the application needs, licenses are required to create triggers, devices, and so on. For more information, see Licenses.
