Adding a Notification group

To add a notification group, do the following:

  1. On the Administration screen, under the CONFIGURATION group, click on the Notification groups.
    The Notification groups screen appears.
  2. Click on the New group button.

    The Adding notification group screen appears.
  3. Enter the following details:

    1. The Key is a unique identifier for the notification group.  For more information on keys, see Field Formats and Limitations.
    2. The Name is a label associated with the notification group.
    3. Checking the Public option will allow users to see, join, and leave notification groups without administrative intervention.

      Org Admins are allowed to find, join, or leave a private notification group. You need an Org Admin to add or remove a regular user to a Private notification group.

    4. The Description should be used to store additional information about how the notification group is to be used.
    5. Click Add to create the group.
