Adding a Notification
group
To add a notification group, do the following:
- On the Administration screen,
under the CONFIGURATION group, click
on the Notification groups.
The Notification groups screen appears. - Click on the New
group button.
The Adding notification group screen appears. - Enter the following details:
- The Key is a unique identifier for the notification group. For more information on keys, see Field Formats and Limitations.
- The Name is a label associated with the notification group.
- Checking the Public option
will allow users to see, join, and leave
notification groups without administrative
intervention.
Org Admins are allowed to find, join, or leave a private notification group. You need an Org Admin to add or remove a regular user to a Private notification group.
- The Description should be used to store additional information about how the notification group is to be used.
- Click Add to create the group.
