Updating user profile
To manage your profile, do the following:
- Click the >> My
profile in the top right corner of the Management Portal.
My profile screen appears.- View or modify the fields of your profile. The fields include:
S.No. Field Description 1 Email address The email address of the user. The email address is used when logging in to the Management Portal. 2 Default organization The default organization of the user. It is possible that a user is a member of multiple organizations. 3 First name The user's first name. 4 Last name The user's last name. 5 Company The user's company. 6 Title The user's title. 7 Office phone The user's office phone number. 8 Mobile phone The user's mobile phone number. 9 Timezone The timezone used for displaying timestamps within the Management Portal for this user. Timestamps are stored in the deviceWISE Cloud in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) and displayed for individual users based on this selection. 10 Language The language to use within the Management Portal for this user. 11 Hide things dashboard Enabling it will hide the dashboard tab when you click Things 12 Enable live updates on connections Check this option to enable live updating of connections. Once enabled, select the preferred update frequency. Use of this feature will result in increased API usage. 13 Enable live updates on things Check this option to enable live updating of things. Once enabled, select the preferred update frequency. Use of this feature will result in increased API usage. 14 Connections live update frequency This option sets the frequency that the IoT Portal will check for updates to connections. 15 Things live update frequency Live updates is the automatic polling of the most recent data available for a connection or thing, and updating the display within the portal.
Use of this feature will increase API usage.
When live updates are enabled for things and you are viewing the Things list or Things view pages, the display will update with the most recent attribute, alarm, and property values.
When live updates are enabled for connections and you are viewing the Connection list or Connection view pages, the display will update with the most recent session information, including IP address and data, voice, and SMS usage values.
16 Default method timeout The amount of time the deviceWISE Cloud waits for a response after sending a method execution request. - When a method is executed from the Thing's page, the Default method timeout value is used if you do not set a value while Defining a method. 17 View license agreements Click to view the user license agreements. 18 Notification groups Click to view the Notification groups. You will be able to either join or leave a Notification group. For more information on Notification groups, see Notification groups. 19 Enable MFA Click to enable Multi Factor Authentication (MFA).
