Remote AT

Device Management Remote AT solution is designed to send AT commands directly to the Connection. You gain remote access to the device and it is possible to run diagnostic and gain troubleshooting capabilities. Resources include easy-to use solutions to manage module inventory, perform mobile network diagnostics, manage quality of experience, test IP and hardware, and perform module resets. Usage of Remote AT requires no device-side application integration and is supported by the tens of millions of Telit modules in the field.

  • Make: Manufacturer name.
  • Model: Module designation.
  • Firmware: Version of the firmware.
  • Remote AT: If Remote AT is enabled.
  • Network: Provider of mobile data plan.
  • Packet service: Communication protocol the module is using.
  • Communication mode: The method of communication. Three methods are available: Automatic, SMS, TR50
    • Automatic: Available when a connection is linked to a thing with an ICCID or MSISDN.
    • TR50: Available when a connection is linked to a thing.
    • SMS: Available when a connection is not linked to a thing, or when the thing it is linked to has an ICCID or MSISDN.

Diagnostics

The diagnostics sub-tab allows you to execute commands, either using TR50 or by SMS. The default is to use the Automatic setting which uses TR50 when available.

  • Terminal properties: Executes the module.info command and displays the results.
  • Hardware test: Executes the module.hwtest command and displays the results.
  • Reboot: Executes the module.reboot command and displays the results.
  • Locate: Executes the module.locate command and displays the results.

Networking

  • Coverage snapshot: Executes the module.coverage command and displays the results.
  • Visible networks: Executes the  module.visible_networks command and displays the results.
  • PDP context info: Execute the  module.pdp.query command and displays the results.
  • PDP control: Opens a modal allowing for the configuration of the parameters for the  module.pdp.control command, and displays the results.
  • Ping test: Opens a modal allowing for the configuration of the parameters for the module.ping command, and displays the results.
  • TR50 query info: Executes the  module.tr50.query command and displays the results.
  • TR50 control: Opens a modal allowing for the configuration of the parameters for the  module.tr50.control command, and displays the results.

Terminal

The Terminal sub-tab allows you to send arbitrary commands directly to the connection.

Action log

The Action log allows you to review previously sent commands. Clicking on the View option will display the details of the command.
