The Event log widget is used to display a set of events from the logs for a Thing.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the widget, shown at the top of the widget. |
| Thing key | The Thing key this widget should respond to. If left blank, the widget will inherit the Thing key from the dashboard. |
| Type | The type of event the widget needs to show. For more information on Types, see Event log. Either it needs to be All types of events or just one event from the drop-down. When you select a event from the drop-down the widget does not display the Type column. |
| Events to display | The number of events to display in the widget. |
| Show border | If the widget should have a border around it. |
Interacting with the widget
- The above screenshot is a sample of the Event log widget display. The widget displays the event type and event along with the data/time.
- Clicking on the view icon (when available) will display the Thing view page.
