Defining Firmware

The Firmware tab defines the firmware versions. It is possible to upload the firmware as a file, input an URL or do a custom input.

Enter the following fields to define a Firmware:

Field	Description
Name	The name of the Firmware version
File type	Click the File type drop-down and select source of the firmware File - Choose a file from the File drop-down. For more information on File, see Files URL - Enter a URL of the Firmware Custom - Enter a string that is relevant to the device you want to update. For example, the Danlaw device expects a string to update the firmware through FOTA.
Requires	The minimum firmware version required for the update. The required version must be available in the deviceWISE Cloud in order to update the version in the device.
Version	Enter the desired or target version of the Firmware.
