Exporting Thing definitions

To export a Thing definitions from one org to a different org, do the following:

1. On Developer main screen under the THINGS group, click Thing definitions
   
   The Thing definitions screen appears.
   
2. Select the items you want to export
   
   
3. Click Export
   The exported file is saved in JSON format.  It is possible to import the file into the desired Organization.  For more information on importing Thing definitions, see Importing Thing definitions

When exporting a thingDefinition, the elements of the Presentation tab are not included. The Presentation tab will need to be configured manually after the thingDefinition is imported.
