Wakeup

The Wakeup sends an SMS to the client which is in the power saving mode (Sleep) to bring it to the normal mode. To invoke Wakeup, do the following:

1. Click on the LWM2M tab while Viewing a Thing
2. Click on the Wakeup
   
   Wakeup SMS type screen appears.
3. Click the drop-down menu and select the message type you want to send. 
   • LWM2M 1.0 Binary - Sends a binary coded SMS. By default, binary is selected.
   • LWM2M 1.0 Hexadecimal - Sends a hex coded SMS.
   • Telit simple - When Telit simple is selected,  the deviceWISE Cloud will check to see if the receiving device has the IMEI field set. If it is not set, the command will return a failure. If it has an IMEI, it will send an SMS using 7-bit encoding with a message of "FOTA_START: <IMEI>" where <IMEI> is the IMEI of the thing.
   • Telit complex - When Telit complex is selected, the deviceWISE Cloud will send a secure encrypted SMS to the device.
     
4. Click Send SMS to send a Wakeup SMS with the type you selected
   Successfully woke up device confirmation message appears.
