To view your module in the Management Portal:

1. Navigate to Management Portal >> Things
2. Click view icon of the module.
   The module's overview tab appears. When the module is connected the Last seen icon is green as shown in the screen below.
   

To view your module's data:

1. Click on the LWM2M tab
   
   On the left side you will find the details of the connected device and on the right you will find the date/time of when the module is created in the organization and for all the other main activities
2. Clicking the Object browser button in the LWM2M tab will open a window showing all the supported LWM2M Objects and included resources.

3. When the device is not connected to the deviceWISE Cloud, the queries performed in the browser can be queued to be sent as soon as the device communicates with the portal again. The queuing of these queries occurs whenever the requests (Read, Write, Observe, and so on) fails to be acknowledged by the device and as long as the device registered with the portal with the Queuing mode enabled. To view data in the queue, click on the Queue History Button in LwM2M tab. This will open a window listing the log of all queued queries sent to the device and their status.

   

4. The Device Management tab allows you to manage various components in the Oneedge module device.

Aim:

You will continuously check the Tx data value and if the value reaches 100 K bytes then an email is sent to indicate that the threshold is reached and an alarm is published.

Procedure 1:

The following steps describe the process to continuously Observe the Tx Data:

1. Open the Object browser (In your Thing view, open the LWM2M tab and click Object browser button)
2. Expand the Connectivity Statistics Object
   
   
3. Observe the Tx Data (click the Observe button corresponding to Tx Data)
   
   At this point whenver the Tx Data value is updated deviceWISE Cloud will be notified and the new value is automatically read
4. Execute Start to start Connectivity Statics (click the Exec button corresponding to Start)
   
   The button turns green indicating that the Connectivity Statistics is started.

Procedure 2:

In order to automatically enable to listen to the Tx Data and send an email and an alarm publish when the Tx Data crosses the set threshold (100 K bytes) a trigger is setup. The following procedure lists the steps to create the trigger:

1. Navigate to Developer >> Triggers
2. Click New Trigger. Create a new trigger as described in the below diagram.

3. After creating the trigger, click Start to turn the trigger active.

Result:

As soon as the Tx Data is greater than 100 Kilo bytes the trigger will be enabled and as a result an email will be sent to configured email id and an alarm is published.

The firmware tab shows the current firmware version and other related information. To perform a firmware update (FOTA), you have two options:

• Run a FOTA Campaign using the FOTA App in the App Center. For more information on the FOTA app, see FOTA.
• Set the target version of the firmware you want to update to for your single device update.  For more information on setting the target version, see Firmware.
