The following sections list common tasks and problems occurred while using deviceWISE View along with the possible solution:

The new deviceWISE View is not compatible with Displays created using previous versions. Please contact Telit support if you need to migrate your displays to the new version.

When using deviceWISE View version v0.5 or earlier, if you notice an error related to displays, ignore it.

If you get this error after upgrading your deviceWISE View package:
The following steps can be tried

Clear the browser cache and restart the browser.

Verify if the browser points to the machine where the latest package is installed.

Copy Widget, Cut Widget and Paste Widget functions are only supported in Chrome browser and HTTPS mode. These functions will not work in other browsers or HTTP mode. Duplicate function for widgets can be used in the same Display.

The dropdown to view variables will only list up to 100 variables of a device. To view matching variables, type the device variable name and you will notice the matched variables appearing in the list.

You may end up with an unresponsive login attempts while using Chrome where an HTTP server session goes bad and takes sometime to recover. The solution to this problem is to clear the cache of the entire browser.
