Sending an SMS

To send an SMS, do the following:

1. In the Viewing a Connection page, click on the Connection SMS Tab.
   
2. Click New SMS.
   
   The New SMS window appears.
   
3. Enter a message or select a pre-defined message from the available templates.
   SMS templates (pre-defined template)  are only available to connections that the SMS engine supports.
4. Enter a Validity period in seconds. If the message is not delivered within the validity period then it will not be allowed after the set period expires.
5. Select a coding format(Text, Bin or UCS2).
   
6. Click Send new SMS.
