Sharing multiple Things between Organizations

Management Portal allows you to share multiple things simultaneously. To share multiple things, do the following:

  1. On the Things Dashboard, select the things you want to share with a different Organization

    Click Select all, to select all the Things in the page. If you want to select all the things in all the pages, then click on link provided. It is possible to hide the total count, see Editing Organization settings for details.

  2. Click Actions menu
  3. Click Recruiter

    Recruiter 
    screen appears with the selected things
  4. Enter or select the following details:

    a.Share actionIt is possible to either Share or Unshare items with Organizations. Click on the Share action drop-down and select Share/Unshare items.
    b.Share withEnter the keys of the organization with which you want to share or unshare the selected Things.

    Not supplying an organization will neither share or unshare the item.

    c.Share permission levelFrom the Sharing Permissions drop-down, select Read and Write or Read only access
    Read and Write
     - allows to read and modify the Thing.
    Read only - allows to read the Thing.
    d.Billing plan codeClick on the Billing plan code drop-down and you select one of the following options:
    • Keep the current Billing plan
    • Remove the current Billing plan or
    • Update to a different Billing plan.

    e.VAS package code.Click on the VAS package code drop-down and you select one of the following options:
    • Keep the current VAS package plan
    • Remove the current VAS package plan or
    • Update to a different VAS package plan.

  5. Click Submit
