Configuring FANUC CNC Device in deviceWISE

1. Install deviceWISE and the deviceWISE Workbench if you have not already done so. (deviceWISE Installation).
2. Open the deviceWISE Workbench (deviceWISE Workbench).
3. Connect to the node running deviceWISE (deviceWISE Node Discovery).
4. Ensure the deviceWISE node has the appropriate licenses (deviceWISE Licenses).
5. Ensure the FANUC driver package is installed on the deviceWISE node (deviceWISE Package Installation).
6. Navigate to the Devices panel using the deviceWISE Workbench.
7. Click “New” to create a new device.
8. Enter a name for the device connection in the “Name” field.
9. Select the model of the Fanuc CNC from the “Type” dropdown.
10. Enter the IP Address in the “IP Address” field.
11. Enter the port of the CNC’s FOCAS function (Default: 8193).
12. Click the Validate button to ensure the connection is successful.
