deviceWISE Cloud 21.09 Release Notes

Review deviceWISE Cloud 21.08 Release Notes since 21.08 is not officially deployed. Major change is that the Session ID will now only be returned during the authentication process. Session Ref will be the identifier used to interact with sessions.

A number of improvements and fixes were added to the deviceWISE Cloud 21.09 release.

Production Release Date: September 2021

  • The update of the remote address for the LWM2M device record will now also occur for the Thing record.
  • When a user account is deleted or locked, all sessions related to the user will be terminated.
  • To prevent duplicates, LWM2M identity and bootstrap identities will now need to be unique.
  • Implemented SAML Single Sign-On.
  • Added trigger action time.format .
  • Org admins will now be able to publish to MQTT topics.
  • App Center - Look & Feel is now hidden.
  • Fixed bug preventing self removal from Notification groups.
  • Object browser: Fixed an issue that prevented live update of values in the Object browser.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented deleting unpublished Billing plans.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented updating Twilio settings.
  • Fixed issue for Verizon CDP where connections would randomly have over counting of the counter(causing usage charts and data) to be inaccurate and also fixed issue where some data records would not be present in the usage data table.
  • Fixed a wrong validation message while Adding CoAP PSK.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Cloning a Trigger due to not properly initializing index for next node.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Uploading a file.
  • Object browser: Fixed an issue that displayed a message showing "No instances available" even when instances are available.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented new users to self-signup (deviceWISE Cloud Part 1 - Creating your account)
  • Fixed issue which would cause Verizon connections to set to "Unknown" and then removed.
